Heather is a strategic, goal-focused marketing leader with over 15 years in the healthcare insurance industry, and over 20 years in marketing. She has proven expertise ensuring consistent brand positioning and driving market growth with effective customer engagement and channel penetration.
Prior to joining HealthShare360, Heather spent most of her marketing career at Aetna, where she helped shape the strategic direction and implementation in different lines of business and segments including Medicare, Individual, Small Group, Middle Market and National Accounts.
In 2010, Heather was Head of Aetna Small Group marketing, which generated over $4 billion in premiums. In that role, Heather was responsible for leading the market planning and development for the segment.
In 2012, Heather moved into the Accountable Care Organization where she worked closely with hospital systems to launch the first set of High Value Network plans in Medicare. In addition, she established and led the branding and marketing strategies for the first Joint Venture in Aetna’s history in the Individual and Medicare segments, which surpassed membership forecasts in the first year by 50% in the Individual segment, and 10% in Medicare.
Heather has a Bachelor of Arts degree from LaSalle University and an MBA from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
